Meet Our Founder
Danielle Robinson was born in the Bronx New York into a two parent household. As a child, she experienced molestation and severe bullying. By age twelve, she moved to Yonkers where she continued to endure bullying by peers which led to issues with self esteem and mental health. At the age of seventeen she was sexually assaulted by a family member, which led her down a path of prostitution. She became heavily involved in a life of substance abuse and became caught in a cycle of human trafficking. She faced years of manipulation and emotional abuse at the hands of her female sex trafficker. At the age of 25, she made the decision to turn her life around accepting Christ as her Lord and Savior. She then returned back to school and graduated at the age of 28 with a BS in criminal justice. She now works as a behavioral therapist for autistic children. Currently, she is working to earn a Master’s degree in Social Work at Capella University. Danielle is also a published author dedicated to empowering young women that have endured repeated trauma within the sex industry. She hopes to put a stop to human trafficking among young women in the Bronx and other parts of New York.
